Do you have a business that you think other WAY members might be interested in, or benefit from using? If you would like to reach our 1,600+ members – and help WAY raise funds at the same time – then why not consider advertising in our new directory?
With prices starting at just £20, it’s a very cost effective way to tell other members about your product or services. You can also choose whether to donate a percentage of your sales to WAY (although there’s no obligation to do so). We’ll be launching in the September 2014 issue of our WAY Forward magazine, but you can sign up at any time.
- All printed Directory slots are 30mm x 130mm (1/6 of an A5 page)
- Current distribution is 2,000 households per issue, with a readership of approximately 6,000 when family and friends are taken into consideration.
- Forum Directory figures are unknown at present, but are estimated at approximately 1,500 readership.
- 'Featured Business' slots will include a small write-up in the monthly E-newsletter and 'Friends of WAY' public e-newsletter, and a feature post on the online Forum with hyperlinks to website/Facebook page/Twitter pages, if applicable.
Rate card as follows

Option 1 - The Full Year Package - £100
- A printed directory entry in all 3 issues of the WAY Forward Magazine, dated from 12 months of payment being received.
- One ‘Featured Business’ slot (chosen on a ‘first come, first served’ basis then on rotation. Specific requests for particular months may be able to be granted, but can’t be guaranteed).
- 12 months Online Forum advertising (following the guidelines within the ‘Marketplace’ section) effective from the date of payment being received.
- Option to exhibit at the AGM during the Saturday daytime breaks at no extra charge.
Option 2: Pay Per Issue - £30 per issue
- One printed directory entry in the WAY Forward magazine of your choosing.
Option 3: Online Only - £20 per year
- An ideal budget solution - the opportunity to post text and photos of your choice within the ‘Business’ section of the Marketplace Forum online, effective for 12 months from the date of payment being received. Guidelines to content and frequency of posts will be in the Forum and must be adhered to. Members will be directed to this section, and regularly reminded that this is the place to come to seek out business deals.
Provisional print copy deadlines are:
- September 2014 issue – 13 August 2014
- Winter 2014 issue – 28 November 2014
- Spring 2015 issue – 27 March 2015
Once your order has been received we will contact you for the following information:
- Business details: business name, one line of text (140 characters, including spaces and punctuation) describing your business or offer, preferred business contact details, website
- A small version of your business logo, please attach in hi-res JPEG format/GIF/PES
- Your full name and address so that we can tally you up with the membership database
To make it fair to everyone, in the future any posts that advertise a business venture on the Forum (or Facebook group) will be removed unless they are in the correct ‘Marketplace’ section and the directory payment has been made. Yearly printed directory entries will be the same advert throughout. Changes to the advert will only be made after a £10 re-design fee has been received.
